Default Thievery is so cool.

This morning I decided to rewire my amps and crossover and mount everything all nice like. I was working on it from about 8:30am until about 3:00pm when I went inside to use the phone. I came out about 30 minutes later to find that someone hand entered my garage and made off with my two PG Tantrum 300.2 amps and the PG Comp Ti Elite crossover which were all mounted to my newly fabricated board. I have another amp I could use, but without the crossover I'm pretty much sunk.

Anyone wanna pull a free crossover out of their ass and also buy me a Zapco C2K 2.5X?

So....

PG Tantrum 300.2 S/N's 05603380540020 & 05603380540046 were stolen from Benicia, CA on 06/11/05.

Good people: 0 (As if that weren't always the case)

that sucks....get the word out to the police

You also might want to call all local pawn shops within an hour or so. You might want to visit a few and look for serial numbers.

I filed a police report as soon as I looked around a bit to make double sure I wasn't just being absent minded in my advanced age.

We don't have any pawn shops. This is a small, well to do city full of bad parents who raise spoiled, delinquent children. The nearest pawn shops are the neighboring ghetto of Vallejo, where I definitely will not be going.

The thing is, I'm in a small townhouse development and not in any way visible from the street. The amps were also at the far end of the garage visibly shielded by my cars. Whoever did it was likely one of my neighbors' druggie little kids or their sketchy friends who must have driven by earlier in the day and seen me working.

Time for a nanny cam and some bait - I hope you checked with your neigbors to see if any of them saw kids carrying something around that time! better yet, put up signs in your neighborhood asking if anyone saw anything - kinda like lost pet signs! someone might have driven by and seen something but unless you get the word out no one will think about it!

a nanny cam and bait will work wonders especially now that the dumbass has his false confidence up, way up. Catch him in the act and let the lesson begin...

I already talked with about a dozen of my neighbors.

Short of withdrawing a few hundred $1 bills form the bank and stacking them in my driveway, I don't have anything to bait with. Cameras aren't a bad idea though. I've always toyed with the idea of a few wireless webcams, but now it's time to seriously look into it.

What do you need? You have boxes don't you? Even empty boxes are enough to get someone to come up for a closer look. Set it up like you are working again, have a camera on, kick back and watch the fun unfold on the TV.

Just in cast you are afraid you'd miss them, you'd still get them on tape checking out the goods.
