Default Think my sub died. Buzzed then hasn't worked since

Looks like my 10" sub might have died on me. Haven't had a chance to really check around but was making a vibrating noise a little bit and then just cut out and hasn't made any noise or anything since earlier today.
So I am guessing it is blown. Had it for a few years now.
It is an Infinity 10" sub. I have a 4 channel amp and 2 channel's are bridged to the sub I guess.
So is here something better for the money? The sub was perfectly fine for me so don't need to upgrade to something more expensive or anything but if there is something much better for same cost I would go with that of course.
The sub never made the real blown speaker sound but would it just cut out like that? or usually just change in sound to sound like a really blown speaker sounds?

infinity subs blow, if you want cheap and a lot better, checkout alphasonik or i always had good experience w audiobahn, i had a couple extra 10" audiobahn (i only got the higher end ones) laying around, too bad you are far away or i could've let you test one out, maybe trade for some items? lol

Well must be something loose. If I push on the middle of the sub lightly it works. Then works for a few seconds after I stop and then stops working again. Didn't have time to unbolt the sub but wires going into box are good and into amp.

possible the lead wire or grounding issues.. number one thing i see happen is lead wire gets crimped/pinched by seats or plastic parts.. works for awhile... then just randomly dies...

check the speaker with a 1.5v battery for a pop test... try both ways to ensure that the coil is still good.

I have an alphasonik 800 series, and I love it. However, I disagree about Infinity subs blowing (sucking.) I love the DVQ subs, super high quality sound.

Been busy so haven't looked into it until now. I just pulled the sub and all connections seem secure. Nothing is loose. For some reason when I pushed the center of the sub it would work but then would stop as soon as I stopped pushing on it.
No idea about subs so what do I check and how?

Also is there no way to open up the subs? I have an Infinity kappa sub. There are no screws or anything to pull it apart to look inside more.
