Default To those who changed their plate lights....

If you changed your license plate lights....

How did you get the bulb out. I figured Id ask before I broke something.

its one of thoes push-clip thingies I ended up taking off the rear bumper
its full of grease to repell water

So you have to take the entire light assembly out? Or does the bulb come out on the harness like the sidemarkers?

you can just pull off the license plate light "assembly", it is attached by something that is best called "clips", you just grab it and pull it towards the front of the car.

This is attached by a wire, of course, and you have some leighway with the wire.

You then pop the clear plastic off the "assembly", pull out the bulb, and replace it with a LED bulb, with about 5 LEDs, not 9, those won't allow you to put the plastic cover back on.

It was pretty hard. I thought I was going to break something tugging on it so hard. It eventually poped out *shrug*

haha, the license plate light assembly is on the left side of that picture, which is why he posted it.

Yea on my old car it was welded on there pretty good aswell
After loosing it on the right and then the left side of it, It finally came out
Pretty cool mod, i think it helped my power to weight ratio
