Default Trunk Dynamatting

Ok I know its dead extra weight doesnt work the way they make it sound like . But the shop who installed my stuff to my car has this 2 little quarter shaped brass metal pieces. One of the has a real small piece of dynamat. And when you drop em, on a glass window the one without dynamat makes all this clingin noise for about 2-3 seconds. The one with the dynamat sounds like it fell on carpet. Nothing at all. I belive it does that by stopping the movement on the panel as dave said, thus minimizing sound waves coming off the panel.

This Place gonna dynamat the whole trunk for $70. This includes all the labor and parts. I dont think I need it anywhere else right? Inside the doors, is that a good place to put them? I dont have any rattle there though.

So ok is this a good deal?
If it is should I get it done?
I know I know I am asking the same thing like the 58th time but that quarter thing totally sold me on the stuff. Maybe I might be just laying donw for the program, I dont know.

Yup thats a great price as long as they do the whole trunk not just half. Also make sure they do the convert. top tray, as well.

BTW it does work very well. I have my whole trunk done.

Ok, what do you mean with whole trunk? there is almost nothing on the lfoor since all the equipment sits in there. Its mostly the trunk lid I belive.
What do you mean, by convertible top tray?

That black tray your top folds into.

Have them do the vent hole behind the bumper (on the left side) also do behind the licence plate, and the inner fender walls....etc...

Just keep in mind that the stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to remove. I tried every trick in the book in my old car. I took hours and looked like complete crap once the majority of it was removed.
