I just ordered a DVD, CD-R, CD, TV tuner unit, will be setting it up under the passenger's seat. It has a coaxal port for the UHF/VHF antenna. I need an antenna. Anyone have one on thier car? If so where is it mounted? I've been told that most of these mount on the rear deck or glass...not an option for the S with the top down. Any sugestions?

 

Just out of curiosity, why did you do this to your S?

 

I think the answer is quite obvious. I want to be able to listen to music, watch TV or DVDs. Should come in especially handy on laborday weekend. I'm going camping with some friends. My girl also likes the Idea. Looks cool. Pick one!

What's the big deal? Never seen a TV in a car before? The technology isn't that new. Oh I for got you live in Ohio!!!

 

Yes, I have. In RVs, mini vans, full size vans, long haul trucks, and campers. But I can't say I've seen one in any roadsters. Boy, what will they think of next.

 

You've been on this site for over a year and have not seen pics of the S with a tv(LCD) in it???? Oh my...they even put them in tha visors!!!! For future reference do a search before you show just how IGNORANT you really are.

 

Just buy a portable dvd player, then you don't need to be in the car to enjoy. sheesh

I have a clarion nav + tv with the internal windscreen ariels, which are 2 dipoles that stick to the inside of the glass they work very well and out of site.
