Default Tweeter not working?

hey guys. i am pretty new when it comes to ICE so forgive me if this is a stupid question. i recently put some 6.5 infinity kappa components in and all the sudden my tweeters don't work. is there a reason for this? im thinking its because i need a crossover?? what would i need to make this work?

thanks

Can you please list all your gear(brand and part numbers) and how it is installed. That will help me better.

sounds like you need the crossovers. cause if i am not mistaken the stock crossovers are built into the tweeter or midbass speaker. aftermarket will def need the crossover.

I'll have to dig out my book and double check the wiring diagrams. I think the stock tweeter and woofer are tied in togther. The both have resistors on them to block the high's or low's from that speaker.

Why didn't you replace the seperates with another set of seperates anyway?
