Getting my shit installed on Friday. They guy pulls out this $139.00 contraption to make my Alpine changer work. Gives me a great discount, because He's a friend of a friend. However, This adaptor has a blue plastic molex type connecter on it, not what I assumed would be just a DIN cable. So my question is, How does the CD player hook up? does it have a DIN, or does it meed to go thru this 16? pin connection plug in?. The simple adapter with the DIN pins switched is like 15 bucks.
If anyone has a pic, or can just tell me that would be great. I searched long and hard, but couldn't find this on the site.
Thanks guys!!!

Mike

Here's a pic, 800x600, 70kB. It's a tape/tuner (Swedish) unit, but I bet it's the same as your cd/tuner version. Maybe someone else can back me up on that.

Thanks!, If it is the same, it kinda answers my question.
Anyone with a NA unit back this up for me?

Thanks Yellow, I guess he was right all along
looks like they changed it from the normal Din connection, to a more propritatory connection. At least I know I'm not gettig taken.

Thanks again!
