Ok, so here's my question: Last may, my gf and I both bought valentines (yeah, I know...awwww). Anyway, she bought hers about two or three weeks before I did. I noticed last week that under the rear facing antenna (the plain black square on the right side of the control panel face) hers has a little black led; mine doesn't. Can anyone who bought one recently tell me whether theirs has this led? I'm curious about who got the most up to date model, her or me.

 

The one without the LED is the new one. It should be shorter in height too. The specs are on the Valentine site for the dimensions and they should be different between the two models.

The other way to do it is to go to the valentine site (www.valentine1.com) and go to the upgrades and enter both of your serial numbers and see who has to pay the most to upgrade. I bet hers comes in higher.
