Default Viper 5901 Problems after installation

I just had my installer to install the Viper 5901 for my00.

The install is just fine but right now I have some problems right now.

Hope you guys can help to solve the problems.

I have the backup battery and proximity sensor installed as well.

The problems are

1. The alarm is triggered out of sudden saying the trunk door is opened. (I know the proximity sensor is connected to the door so shouldn't be the proximity sensor problem) Sometime is like right after you arm the car, sometimes is like 30 mins...sometime 1 hour...sometimes 2 hour...So many false alarm...

2. When you drive, the trunk light is on for 3 seconds then off...30 seconds or so...the light comes on again...keep going on and off? I have no clue what happened? The dome light flashes once with the trunk light on as well too? No clue what happen to this?
(But then I am thinking it is somehow relate why there's false alarm for the trunk opened. However, the frequency of the false alarm is not the same like this)

3. When you arm or unarm the alarm by the Viper remote, it (THE PARKING LIGHT) doesn't turn on. But then when i use the stock remote, it (THE PARKING LIGHT) does turn on.

Hope you guys can help me out with this,
Thanks,
Jason

1 and 2 are related, sounds like the trunk trigger needs a diode.

yes a diode and maybe the trigger on the trunk is bad or loose.
if it was dei promity it plugs into the brain as a seperate trigger, nothing to do with doors.

AM..I will let my installer knows about it tho and try to work on it. The trunk light issue happens after right the alarm install tho. When driving, it on and off with a frequency. On for 3 sec then off for 30secs to 1 min. When the car is parked and armed, the alarm will be triggered out of a suddent.

The sensor are from DEI but then when i try to walk close to the car or try to put my hand inside the car. It only says door opened. Should I get some other messages from the remote?

Sounds like the installer hooked up the door trigger to your dome light and your trunk pin sensor seems to be faulty. The system may be backfeeding to the trunk pin but unlikely. A diode would isolate that issue. So the stock remote arms your viper alarm??? and your viper remote doesn't arm or disarm the viper alarm?

Stock remote do not trigger the viper alarm.
Viper remote is working.
