Well here the latest... we finished this 1 day before HIN Boston... only to have to roll in by myself... because no one from my local club signed up in time... only to be stuck in the back corner.

Its a good thing we have another larger show coming up in a few weeks.

Anyway here you go:

Hey - what kind of alpine components are those?

need some advice from the geru - would you go with a pair of infinity kappa perfect 6.1 components or the Alpine SPX-177R

I have both the SPX-177a and the SPX-137a's in the car. They sound just awesome, and I still need to tune it more.
I honestly like both speakers the Alpine's and the Infinity's. They both have great sound.
What amp do you have and how much power will you be feeding them?

actually, I just posted up something about my tentative system

i will be getting the directed audio 600/4 - 125 X 4

so I will bridge the rear 2 channels for the sub and leave the other 2 channels for the components, and now sure which onces is better because never heard them before

thanks

With that kind of power you should be good with either set. What kind of sound do you like? Deep midbass, lots of highs..? that type of things?

Its the newer version Type-R 10. It's running at dual 2ohms with 300watt amp. It sounds so nice. It honestly sounds better then most home theater setups.
The box is the same box from last year.
Here are some pictures of the box.

i bet my home theater setup sounds better j/k with you, sick work you have going! that's some beautiful craftsmanship, do you lay any of it up yourself or is it all farmed out?

FTR, my home theater setup:

Monitor Audio Gold Reference Front, Center and Surrounds.
Dual Monitor Audio FB212's
B&K AVR 405 Processor

if only i had a car that COULD sound as smooth as that

Looks awesome John.

Questions/Comments....

1)I assume everything is lighted to sh!t correct? (Cap, sub, etc)
2)Put a damn grill on the door alpine's before the Mrs. kicks the cones in.
3)I thought you were upgrading subs if you know what I mean? Why the change of heart?
4)I notice you got a rearvier camera...if it is in the trunk keyhole, what kind of camera did you buy?

Anyway, to noones surprise, everything looks great....

Now who's that monkey squattin behind the car on the overhead monitor???
