There are 6 terminals. Two should be labeled IN +/- This connects to your power source. From you photo I am assuming you ran some speaker wire to the door. The other terminals should be WF +/- goes to the bigger speaker in your hand. TW +/- goes to the tweeter shown on the box.
Best of luck to you.

you have 2 sets of speaker wire going into one terminal for some reason. Bascially think of the crossover as a spliter:
Speaker wire run from amp(or)headunit to door goes into the IN- and IN+
The other set of terminals are for your woofer and tweeter. W+ and W- and T+ and T-, obviously w for woofer, t for tweeter. Run positive to + and neg. to minus for each, and then mount.
Answer your question?

BTW I have a crappy receiver ( a kenwood KDC-135 ) that the dealer installed, could that be part of the problem, I don't have to re-do anything to make the speakers compatible with it do I???

The speaker wires (2) that you unpluged from the stock woofers must be extended by using an adopter if you have one or by cutting the stock adopter off and splicing about 12-18 inches of wire and then inserting this longer wire into the +/- (input) on the crossover box.
Using about the same length of wire, connect both wires to the OUTPUT on your crossover box and then connect these two wires to your new woofers.

Could be a dead cross-over also - try swapping the xover from the working side to the non-working side.
Dealer probably did a hack job on the install of the HU - may want to recheck all wiring back there also.
