My car has been in storage for about 4 months now. I just got all my stuff hooked up today.Alpine HU,JL amp,2 Kicker 8's.My car has 0 gas in it and i was listening to it just about 5 min ago, with the key turned in the forward position, ill turn it up for 3 seconds and then back down fast and can hear my fuel pump priming as if i just turned the key on.What is going on???????

SO i pulled there car out today and put some gas in it and took it to get my side strakes put on.I got back home and was showing a buddy my stereo with the key turned forward we listened to it for 2 min all the way up.I go to start it and it cranks for about 10 sec and i get nothing try agian and it starts up???Very low idel when it started at first. Then i have a CEL WTF.i drove the car all day and it was fine.So i was in a hurry did not get to pull the code i disconected the battery and started it up drove to the car wash and it never came on...Something is going on here when i just have the key turned forward ANY idea's

Well if your car has 0 gas in it, then the pump is trying to prime itself... BTW why would you store your car for 4months and not leave it with a fully topped off gas tank?

You should never ever leave it empty. Condensation will build up in the fuel system and will damage the components. Always store it when its been fully topped off and a fuel stabilizer/dryer. I would take your car to the local fuel pump and fill it all the way to the top and add the dryer to it.

Well the car has some gas in it, it does start. So you think the fuel pump is still priming itself even though there is some gas in it just no bars on the fuel gauge

You really need to put gas in the sucker It might be... the only why your going to know is to put gas in your car. Maybe its so low you can hear the pump.
