Default What HID Kit to go with

What's going on everyone? I just had my driver side headlight go out and I was looking for recommendations on a good aftermarket kit. I'm OEM 90 percent of the time but I can't bring myself to pay 200 just for the bulb and another 425 for a ballast. Plenty of kits for under 150 with both lights and ballast. What are you currently running or would you recommend? Also correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the stock bulbs 6k?

S2000 and TL have one of the brightest headlights out there. I would say pick up a used one from the for sale area.

If you wanna get a used set, i can contact Chris and see if they have some in Tampa. Still gonna be pricey tho.

Thanks man but I took Bernard's advice and went with a aftermarket kit. Just no warranty with a use one and no way of telling how many hrs the bulb or ballast was used for.

I went with a kit from xenon supply. Spent 180 with a 5 year warranty. I'll take comparison pictures of my one OEM ballast and bulb and compare it to their kit on the other side.

All oem bulbs are 4300k. I prefer 6000k and thats whats on my S now when i needed a bulb according to honda dealer but the oem ones r still good. And i just got a hi/lo kit in 6000k for my 88 jeep cherokee from ebay under 45 shipped and i love it! I bought different light housings in order to use the kit
