Personally.....I have a Boston G5. Rated at 450wrms, only needs ~.5cf and it hits hard (and is decently musical as well).

Boston is great. Out of your two choices, the Eclipse is a much better sub. However, I would jump on Darkknight's groupbuy with the 800 series...better than both choices.

Here is the Eclipse sub I almost bought.....then I decided I did not want more than 450wrms running to the sub.

Eclipse Titanium Series

Jim - can you come over and clean my trunk?

Back on topic - I really like the Alpine SWR1022/1042 subs, along with the Infinity VQ10, Alphasonik 810, and one of the Eclipse subs (not sure what model off hand - in a hotel on a business trip right now).

My distributor gave me a 10" CompVR to to test out about a week ago, just have not got around to testing it out yet.

Sure I will be happy to clean your trunk. Do you have a job in your area for a Director of Operations in the restaurant industry. What part of the country are you in?

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread.

We will now return you to our show already in progress.
