Default what is this wire harness for

i was looking for a wrench i dropped and when i was tearing stuff apart,...i took my spare tire out and was behind it and found a plug in that was not plugged in,.....is this the hardtop defrost??????

defrost should be on the driver's side.

That one could be for the softop motor, maybe the rear wheel abs sensor.

There are a few there, what color is it? orange, yellow ... ? If you removed your soft top, then thats it.

softtop is still in,...the wire is white/red and a black one,....male connector piece,.....it comes out of another harness. the car was in the shop for a rear quarter panel replacement so i wonder if they forgot to hook something up or if its an accessory of some kind.

Its a bitch to search the helms for the wire colors. It looks to me that if its red/white and has an orange plug, then its your rear passenger side ABS/speed sensor.

Otherwise if you dont think its that, PM me your email and I will scan a page of two of the helms where it shows the loom.

i guess its the accessory plug in for the cd changer

FYI the CD changer and XM attachments use a 14-PIN connector.
