Does anyone know where to get those SoundStream Tarantula for cheap?
They use to be on Millionbuy.com for very cheap, also on ebay..
all the sudden, they are all gone.. did they get discontinued?

Not sure how cheap you're looking for but Millionbuy.com has several at a good price. They may not have had any at the time you were looking due to inventory fluctuations.

They've got a Tarantula selling for $330.

I'm also wanting a SoundStream to power a pair of Focal 165W Utopia's. If you find a better deal, please post as you're will most likely will purchase before me.

This guy near Sacramento California runs a repair shop for SS amps. He used to work for SS. He has a stack of repaired (or refurbished) SS amps for very good price. I bought one amp from him (he took my old broken one and gave me a credit $20) and it worked out fine. He is very knowledgable about SS amp. I'm thinking about the same line of amps. My subs are now 8 weeks backordered from ED but the same store still has the best Soundstream am prices, Infinitecaraudio.com. They have the Tarantula 700/2 for $275 but it's out of stock while I write this. You may want to call them.

As far as discontinuing I don't know for sure but they did introduce a new 5,000 watt XXX amplifier, XXX 8,500 watt subwoofer, and new line of capacitors. Also, they have a revamped website that I hate, hate, hate
