Default Where's the "aux?"

Mine is an '01 with stock radio, without the CD changer option. This would seem to indicate that I have an unused aux input that could be used as an iPod connection. Where is this aux input located? I read one post on his forum where an owner found it in his trunk, but on an '06 -- which might be different than my AP1.

Does anybody know where my "aux input" which is for the non-existant CD changer is located?

Its the port on the back of the radio where the changer would be plugged into. You would need to purchase an ipod to factory radio interface.

I did such a search, and turned up nothing for the AP1 S 2000. What now?

revhi:

Thanks for the link. If the Axxess product will work decently, I think I'll go with it.

And as a heads up, my local Curcuit City has this product for $45 plus $35 for install. That's a "cheap fix" and if it is also a good fix, I think it is the way for me to go.
