Who's put their crossovers in the doors?

I've done it on other cars, but after pulling components out of my Integra when I sold it, I found that all of the screw heads and terminals were rusty and corroded. Remember, car doors aren't watertight. Since then, I prefer to keep the crossovers inside the car.

True, however there are plastic boxes molded right in to the backside of the door panel. All you need to do is cover that box with some watertight material, I used some thick plastic tarp material, and wrapped it with duct tape.

Same deal here, no problems with Dyn crossover in the door.

ditto here. i just had the door skins off this past weekend (after a few days of rain. the x-over was dry, the speaker had a small amount of condensation on the magnet boot.

the door should NOT be water tight, there should be a drain hole to allow water and moisture to escape.
