WHY ARE YOU YELLING ALL THE TIME??!!
(Take your caps lock off.)

No, the dash controls won't work on most aftermarket HUs. You can get an add on that will make them work. I believe it's called a DCI unit and you can find it in the forum store "GoFastLabs".

It looks like ass with caps on, it's considered yelling.

You need a DCI (dash control interface) to make the aftermarket headunit work with the radio controls.

I guess you're not up on internet etiquette. CAPS LOCKS = YELLING!

What head unit is it? Modifry has a wired and IR DCI that work great. You just need to see which one will work for you. For the wired, you MUST have a wired remote input on the HU. Seems obvious, but some people have made that mistake.....

And yes, caps is yelling

I'm going to install an Exad radio by JVC, KD-LHX500. Any one know if this unit will work with the DCI?
