They sure look cool. Have you heard them? I've been waiting 3 months now for my e8a's...

Likewise, I emailed Erik last night to see if there was an update. However, I'm going to plan B. I just bought a JL 12W6v2. More on the install to follow!

neither has quite the power handling of the e8a, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

my only concerns would be related to what size enclosures these boys need for a sealed setup and if mounting depth is going to be a problem for the big boy...

other than that -- they look good...

has anyone heard them or have a retailer nearby at which to go hear them?

Where'd you find those? Esp. the first one, I may have to go with it since the e8a is discontinued

Icemn......acaraudio.com

They have them for great prices.

For complete specs, visit www.alphasonik.com

I was very very impressed with the quality of these subs (physically). They sound great, very very tight, so I naturally had to have one. As soon as I get mine, stay tuned for a review.

Looking at the specs it should fit. I compared them to the eD8A.44 sub that does fit and the mounting depth is 2mm less than the eD sub. However, you would have to have William make the cutout 7.5" which sould not be a problem. I don't see the sealed box specs, that would be the only question.

i did some digging...

the 608 will work in the WLaurent box... it has a min and max sealed enclosure volume of .24 to 1 cu ft respectively.

the 208 really isn't quite as good a fit... it requires a min and max sealed enclosure volume of .5 to .85 cu ft respectively, which will not work in William's enclosure volume of .33 cu ft.
