Since there was some interest:

This thing pounds as hard as a 10" Rockford HE I have mounted in a generic (made by Rockford) box.

I need to re-configure my amp to properly drive it - then I will be doing a technical comparison (SPL readings) between the L7 and the other 8" sub offerings. I am pretty sure that this single L7 will match a pair of the lower end Rockfords (Punch-Z). I will also measure the SPL of the 10" HE for comparison

I will be mounting a pair of L5's later this week.
