Default "XM" Radio Question

I have a 2007 S2000 with a factory installed AM-FM stereo with CD and "XM"

What do I have to do to get that "XM" feature working?

It would be nice if that was all there is to it, but I don't think the radio is ready as is!

well you can get the XM tuner and antenna kit for the S2000. It will cost you about $300.00. The "XM" letters on your radio on tell you that you're radio is XM ready in other words can manage XM tuner.

There is another way. Is the one I will be using once I receive the parts. You can get the HON-SC1+SCC1. SCC1 is an universal tuner from sirius (the same of XM) + the HON-SC1 works with between your radio and the SCC1. You can get them on ebay for $100 with shipping. I'm waiting for the HON-SC1+SCC1 to arrive to get them on the car ASAP. You can search for those module here on s2ki and will find others experience

If you have this ugly thing on your trunk, your are ready to go. Mine came with it installed. I don't DD mine, so I have not activated it yet.

Wow anyone think of better placement yet? Maybe double side tape and a little above the rear view mirror?

I have mine in the middle of the dash, right where the dash and windshield meet.

I have mine right behind the roll hoops...but not under where the top folds.

Works great and is not conspicuous.
