ok so i have an 01 s2000 an i was wanting to know if it possible to switch to 06+ ecu what is the procedures to get this done? has anyone done this b4? can i go to the dealership an have them flash the 06 ecu to my 01?

 

No you cannot go to the dealer to get this done.

There are many different changes to the S2000 from 2000 to 2006+. One of them being the 06+ ecu's are used to control Drive By Wire S2000's which your 01 does not have. If it is even remotely possible to use an 06+ ecu in an 01 S2000 you would need to switch to a DBW throttle body.

I don't think it is worth the trouble and money to put an 06+ ecu in the 2000-2005 S2000's.

yea was looking to go flash pro. do yall know nething else to go with to tune my car i have vafcii right now. that i got like really cheap an idk if its gonna be worth putting it on or not. lmk what u guys think would be my best best
