Default 1052u built in controller

So I bought my ecu from somebody a couple months ago and everything is working fine but I need the harness/o2 sensor that can plug off the back of my ecu. I have an external uego but my tuner told me that the ecu designates the built in controller as the primary o2. So I was wondering if anyone has the part numbers or can link me to what I would need to plug a sensor in to the back of the ecu near the serial port.

Thanks!

Yeah i have the 13 in 1 AEM Eugo myself with 1052u. I was looking at it last night and it doesnt look like its going to work for me. Im guessing with the build in 1052u you just need an AFR gauge and plug it into the ecu and leave the stock o2 sensor on the car.

I have not heard that the 1052u will automatically default to the built in one. Hopefully someone can chime in. It would be nice to keep the 13-1 gauge and plug it into the ecu directly and leave the o2 sensor plugged into the stock harness.

the only way to connect a gauge to the wideband built into the 1052u is to use a serial gauge.

you cant buy the harness anymore.. you have to buy the connectors then build the harness yourself.

also, you dont have to worry about it being primary or secondary in aem pro.. if you use o2 feedback (which I dont usually recommend) you can tell the aem which sensor to use.

You can still wire the gauge you have into the ems at one of the other o2 inputs.

So i have a

AEM 30-4100 UEGO Controller Gauge
and
AEM EMS 1052U

Your saying the only way to get that gauge to work is to make my own serial connector for it?

The 1052U Box has an o2 connector on it. Wouldnt i just be able to plug it in there? Or will that gague only work if connected directly to the o2 sensor itself?

Connect the 0-5v output on the AEM 30-4100 into an O2 sensor input or analogue voltage input in the 1052, you can then configure this as your lamda input and ignore the onboard wideband input. The socket that connects to the onboard wideband is a specific plug for connection to the LSU wideband sensor.

Ok so leave the stock o2 sensor plugged into the oem harness. Plug in the 1052u into the oem harness. tie in the 0-5v into the o2 sensor input and then i can at least use the gauge as a AFR gauge but not the other features?

Sorry im a very very visual learner so maybe pictures would help lol. Sorry. Just new to tuning and i want to get this gauge setup before i go to my tuner.

thanks again for all the help.

the AEM ignores all onboard O2 other then then built in wideband.

Im currently running the 1052u with the AEM harness and AEM sensor no honda o2 sensors at all.

with the AEM installed the heaters are not in use with the stock sensors so they burn out quickly.

as suggested wire in the wideband to be recognized by the AEM but remove the stock o2's

as far as the tune, your tuner will be able to set when the feedback is used or not used. for me I was happy with having the feedback on when I'm not in vtec and when I'm not in boost at all.

currently 400WHP vortech setup and getting 32mpg....when I drive slow LOL

Ok so could you write or draw out a basic wiring diagram? Like i said im a visual learner and unless i see what is attached to what its just not going to make sense to me.

Thanks.

do your own homework sir

goodle AEM wideband, find the 0-5v signal output
google AEM ecu wiring pinout, find the wideband input or any 0-5v input

enjoy sir
