Follow this procedure,

It actually doesn't take long, i did it on a flat road, held about 30 mph steady, for a 60-90 seconds or so, then it set. I held about 3000 rpm, it wasn't as difficult as i thought it would be

Catalytic Readiness
Enable Criteria:
ECT (Coolant) at 158*F or higher.
IAT at 20*F or higher
Vehicle speed is steady, and speed sensor reads more than 25mph

Test drive car under stop & go conditions with short periods of steady cruise.
During steady cruise, keep the RPM between 1500-3500, load between 25-65 kpa, AF variation < 0.05 lambda. If the AF swing is more than 0.05 lambda, which is not much variance, the test will abort.

FWIW, I got my readiness code for the cat to set with one good drive this past weekend. I'm not sure if the EVAP was set or not, it might not have been, but that's solely due to my gas level probably being too high. I figured I'd post this since people had me nervous that I wouldn't be able to get my readiness codes to set, but my cat set no problemo. This was with a tuned map, not a "revert back to stock" map.

Edit: EVAP was set as well, so all monitors were set. This was after about a half tank of gas I checked the readiness monitors before I reflashed it. Just an FYI that I had no problem getting mine to set.

Was this with a stock cat or a test pipe with defouler? I'm having issues and not sure how many drives I need to do.

Stock cat. The cat set in about a week of short drives each day to work including one day where I put on about 50 miles. The EVAP set sometime before burning a half tank of gas. Not sure when exactly, but it needs to be below 75% to even trigger so that makes sense.
