Default AEM Infinity feature question

Hey guys,

So I currently have an Infinity 506 that I'm planning on running in my 02. Will be supercharged and also running a flex fuel setup. All of this stuff is from SOS.

I won't be running gauges on my setup, but I will be monitoring oil and fuel pressure with dedicated sensors feeding the ECU.

My question is this:

Is there a way to configure the Infinity to trigger a CEL in relation to oil temp? Ideally what I'd like to do is have the CEL on until the oil reaches operating temp (I'll run a dedicated sensor for this obviously), that way I know when I'm ready to go to pound town and send it.

what I would do and have done is create a rev limit which increases gradually as the oil warms up, that way no one can rev the car hard.
The e90 M3's had this.

AH! Very cool! I'm assuming that's possible with the Infinity? If so that will definitely be the strategy I implement. Just wanna figure out what my potential safety options are regarding oil temp in terms of ECU settings as I will not be running gauges of any kind in the car. I'd much rather have a passive strategy set by the ECU instead of having a gauge to monitor it.

If such options are possible I'll go ahead and get my oil pan tapped for a sensor, otherwise I won't bother, so that's why I'm asking here first.

Its doable in AEM EM V2 so I'm sure infinity has it.

yes, looks like can play with frequency as well but not sure how that works

there's a good pic of the protect tab of infinity tuner here where the coolant/oil temp rev limits are: https://www.aemelectronics.com/forum/safety-protection-tab

Thanks so much guys, this completely answers my question. Already ordered the AEM 30-2013 temp sensor and will be getting the Toda pan shortly!
