Aem v2 vase map?

Aem v2 vase map?
How good is the base map on the aem v2? Will it get me ~20 miles to the tuner? If not would you recommend installing it at the timers shop before installing the kit so that I can drive it to the tuner, or just pop the charge pipe on and swap out the injectors at the tuner shop?
