Another VAFCII Question
I've done the search but could'nt find the answer i was looking for here or Apexi and AEM site. What wire do i use/need on the ECU pinouts for the VTC and TDC?? I see that there is 2 wires(one is TDC(+)=C29, the other is TDC(-)=C30 on the AEM pinouts. However, i cannot find the VTC pinout nor does the Apexi diagram shows the location for it. Do i need it at all?? I dont have the money for the PnP harness so please, any help is appreciated.
So to all and hopefully this helps a little, following is what i have it connected to:
*Red-------B1
*Blk--------B20(CAR side)
*Brn-------B20(ECU Side)
*Grn-------A19
*Gry-------C27
*Org------?????
*Lt. Blu-----?????
*Blu--------C10
*Pup--------B12(ECU side)
*Pnk--------B12(CAR side)
*Yel---------C17(ECU side)
*Wht--------C17(CAR side)

Nothing, VTC and TDC is just for K-Series with I-VTEC.
Basically all the wires EXCEPT pressure and VTEC your just going to "T" tap in to to steal the signal or power/ground.
So...
REDS=B1 T-tap about 1/2inch apart
BLACK=B20 T-tap
BROWN=B20 T-tap about 1/2 inch CLOSER to the ECU then the black wire
GREEN=A19 T-tap
GREY=C27 T-tap
LT BLU=nothing just tape the end so it doesn't ground out
ORANGE=nothing, same deal
BLUE=C10 Apexi does not require this to be hooked up , however it will not hurt anyting to do so, all hooking it up does is provide a constant signal to the ECU that the VTEC pressure switch is seeing enough oil pressure to engage VTEC. If you would like to hook this up just cut the wire at C10 and connect the blue wire to the ECU side and tape the car side.
PURPLE=B12 Cut the wire, connect this to the ECU side of the wire
PINK=B12 Connect this to the car side of the cut wire
YELLOW=C17 Cut the wire, Connect this to the ECU side of the wire
WHITE=C17 Connect this to the car side of the cut wire
Hope this helps
