AP1 tuned with Haltech Pro Plugin by Evans Tuning
Now back on topic since we've kinda drifted a bit into an all motor discussion, my purpose for this thread was to show let those know who might be on the fence about the Haltech pro plugin unit that this ECU is very nice and for the price should be the default choice for AP1 and AP2V1 owners who are looking for a standalone. My rev limiter is also temperature dependent so when the engine is cold I think Jeff said my limiter would kick in at around 7K or so and if the coolant temp goes above 210 (can't remember the exact value, will have to check the tune), it limits it to 6K to protect the engine. Jeff also verified that it does work with the stock narrowband. My current plan is when my NYS annual inspection is up, i'll just swap in my stock ECU, drive it around until all the checks are done, get it inspected then put the ECU back in (another reason why I'm not considering any mod that won't work with the stock ECU such as ITBs).
The big plus for me is that next year I'm going to mate this to the GPS Haltech/Racepak dash so I can consolidate all my sensor displays to a single dash and datalog laptimes along with the car telemetry.

yes it does but a narrowband can only target stoich (14.7 afr or 1 lambda). so you can't use it for full throttle. you'll set it up to target 14.7 up until a certain load point and as it approaches full throttle you'll disable it and have it run open loop.
i never tuned the car with the narrowband sensor. i installed the wideband sensor because i like targeting leaner afr's at part throttle.
