Default AP1 w/ AEM V2 EMS, UR Turbo kit, SOS 3 bar map

Hello. I have searched and couldn't quite find the answer I am looking for.

I'm wrapping up installing my Ultimate Racing Turbo kit and have a question. I'm using AEM series 2 for engine management, and am not sure which 3 bar map sensor to choose when going through the wizard in AEMTuner.

I opened using the supercharged AP1 w 750 cc R/C injectors file. Any help would be great.

Also, would this basemap be sufficient for driving to the tuner?

The car is a 2001 AP1. For fuel using walbro 255, RC 750cc 12ohm injectors, stock fuel rail and FPR and FPD. If I need to add more details to this please just let me know.

Thank you in advance.

James

which map sensor do you have ?
if its oem style you might have to manually setup the min and max for it to read properly i have had to do this on the dyno couple of time if its not listed the hardest part is finding which sensor you have and using correct setting

I am using the SOS 3 bar map sensor. It is an OE fit- required zero modification and is PnP.

if you open your software click on "tabs" at the top of the screen its gonna open a long menu option then click on "sensors" its the 6th option from the bottom , once you click on that it will open all you settings for all your sensors. the second(2nd) box from left to right will be the map sensor settings. you will see what settings are there then you can change them to that 1 you have from what came with your sensor make sure to press enter after every adjustment if not it will not take

Doing that I won't have to pick a certain sensor from the Wizard? Like Denso 3bar, or GM P/N XXXXX or whatever? It seems as though doing the above is considerably more detailed- and SOS even lists that information on their web site - which is great!

I'm not trying to be difficult, just generally curious.

Thank you for replying and all of your help!
