Default AP1Chief Tune review!

All,

Just wanted to write a quick note about my experience using AP1Chief (Josh) to tune my S2000.

My setup is a SOS Stage 2 supercharger, ID1000s, Tial BOV, walbro 255, test pipe, gotuning greddy elite exhaust, the usual supporting stuff.

Soon as I sent Josh payment, it was only a couple hours before I had the base tune file. I wasnt quite finished with the supercharger install, so he had to wait about a week until I finished up. Soon as I finished up, that same day he did a remote teamviewer session with me. He calibrated my wideband and tuned my idle right away. The car was running well at this point.

I did my first start of the car on June 29th, and on July 7th we called it done. We went through 7 different tune revisions within that time, and I was mostly unavailable other than a couple nights during that week. That should give you a good feel for how quickly Josh responds and revises the tunes. He is extremely quick to revise the tunes and actually he would text ME and ask if I had time to get logs done yet, imagine that!

All in all, I was initially skeptical to get my car E-tuned but now that I've had it done with Josh, no more. The car starts, idles, part throttle drives around exactly like stock... until I put my foot down! No stuttering, weirdness, nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country right now.

Thanks again Josh!

AP1Chief is solid. I had him help me on setting up my boost comp tables for closed loop boost control on my AEM series 2 and he went above and beyond. He was available and was very communicative. Very top notch service and knowledge.

Just got done with a Stock F20, just head studs valvetrain on a S366 .91 AR on E85 Very conservative timing. EMS v2 Car

Running out a fuel FAST to redline, needs more fuel flow, but makin some power.
This is 21psi, we ended up lowering it to 19 because he was maxing his fuel system out was still making 580ish.

but what a CURVE!!!

Do you tune for older Hondas as well? I have an old civic with Hondata S300 that I'd like to get tuned when I'm done w/ the engine.

Would you also support a kpro converted AP1 for tuning? I was looking at the plug-and play setup that Ballade sells.
