AP2 Hondata Emissions
Hello all, hoping this would be the correct spot to post an inquiry to my issue, so 'ere it goes..
Is it possible to pass an emissions test whilst tuned with Hondata and/or with larger injectors? A pass meaning all of the readiness codes show as complete, catalyst included. The catalyst readiness is the only one that will not, nor is capable from what've I've seen, complete. Regardless of having a cat, or catless, it never throws a CEL or completes the readiness test. I need to have the catalyst ready in order to pass emissions.
I have an 07 AP2, GT3076R, ID1000 injectors, and 4 bar MAP sensor.
Thank you in advance

I'm not sure where you are and how you test. With a 2004 AP2, Hondata K-Pro, Novi1200 supercharger, ID1000 injectors and 4 BAR MAP sensor, I passed Illinois emissions three times without a single issue.
I'm betting your "non-ready" status will not pass. My FlashPro tuned 2006 did pass Ohio smog testing two or three times but Ohio has self-service kiosks and I'm guessing my readiness codes showed OK. I was registered in a non-smog county so since the self service testing was free I just tested our of curiosity. Here in Virginia we don't need smog testing other that up around DC and there's no self service so I don't know if I can still pass.
Should I assume this you have a FlashPro tune? You can set it back to stock if needed but you still need readiness.

I'm in CT. They just hookup to odb and look for any current codes, and of course readiness. You can actually have oneor maybe two non ready monitors and still pass. They also do a visual to make sure you have a cat.
I have FP and a Gernby tune, with a berk cat. I bought the car with an internally broken aftermarket cat, so had to replace it anyway.
I have never had an issue passing emissions. I have no codes, and all readiness monitors are good, so no issues.

I have a Gunrby etune, and he turned something else off that prevented the catalyst check from even initiating. Never figured it out as I just flash back to the stock tune for emissions testing.

Is Greg still around? I've pinged his e-mail but gotten no response.
Luckily I've got 2 months before I need to register the car. It gives me some time to explore the options.
Appreciate the info.
A puzzle made more puzzling by my lack of knowledge on the topic. The one and only time I connected an OBD2 code reader to the car it, or more probably I, caused all kinds of problems just looking at stuff. Several indicators on the dash decided to start flashing including the CEL/MIL. No idea what I did nor how I got it all back to what it was. I vaguely recall the tool indicated the readiness (plural?) was not set and I attempted to reset it with the device. Everything has seemed normal the past couple of years and I ain't hooking it up again to see the readiness code(s).
I naively bought the FlashPro thinking I could use it to lower the VTEC. Yeah, I could just punch in 3600 rpm in one of the boxes but without knowing how to set the fuel and timing tables it wasn't going to work. Paid for the tune and remain happy I did. But I don't have to pass smog.
