So i just bought my 2000 ap1 s2000.
And it has, dc headers, stock car, custom magnaflow exhaust, aem intake with some pipe that goes behind the fog light, and apexi vafc 2.

How do i use the apexi? Or should i just leave it alone.
Ive been trying to play with it but i cannot figuere it out, and ive searched other threads but find no info. Any input from you guys would help a lot. Im also debating whether or not to just take it off.

 

Unless you take it to a dyno or check the af ratio, there istn a way to see if the settings currently on there are good. If you want it to not do anything, you can chance all the points to 0 and the car will run like stock. I had mine tune and got 10 hp and close to 20 around vtec since I lowered it to 5500. If you are going to tune it, it can be done if you have some knowledge on how it works. It really isnt that hard. Just make sure if you do tune it that you do consistant runs. (Example like waiting 1-2 minutes after each pass to let the engine cool a bit).

 

Remove it before you blow your engine!
It is used to tune and if you have no idea what you are doing and no wideband remove it asap and take it somewhere to be tuned.
I would ditch the dc header as well. Known to be complete garbage.

 

Dc claims 14hp gain with it. Why is it garbage?
