Default Changing AP2v1 coolant gauge sensitivity w/ AEM V2, is it possible?

Modifry sells an ECT module to make the coolant gauge more sensitive around normal operating temperature, as it basically has a big dead zone around normal operating temperature. See the pic below to explain further.

The module is also made for the AEM EMS, but I have to think there should be a way to control this within the AEM unit and what data it sends to the dash. Am I incorrect in this? I'm a big rookie with AEM Tuner, and I can't even see where that is setup on the EMS. Hoping someone here can shed some light on this idea.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bob and his products. I have several of them. But if I can save $70 by utilizing hardware I already have, that would be great. I suspect his product came out with AEM V1 EMS, and I'm hoping V2 has some additional capability here.

That's close but I don't think it's quite the same issue. The table they're talking about should be how the AEM unit knows the true coolant temperature. It then sends a different signal (I don't know, voltage or pwm) to the dash through pin A1. That output signal is what I think needs to be adjusted. But I'm not sure if we can even access that, it might be something AEM has hidden.

i also checked my ECT calibration against the recommended values in post 1 of that thread, and they are the same.
