That would be cool if aem made a obd2 port "simulator" that hooks up the the serial or some other output of the ems (an external addon unit).
I had to smog my car this year. I swapped the stock ecu in, taking the aem out was the least of my worries, injectors was the biggest pita...otherwise I left everything as is and I passed with no issues/flying colors. I put everything back in the same day after I passed. This wouldn't work if you're boosted, but you probably wouldn't pass anyway since comptech kit is the only carb legal blower

Aye, mine is a Comptech. The main thing they look for upon visual are all the carb stickers, then the 0-60 is what made me sweat bullets.
