I have a 2000 s2000 with a SOS turbo kit installed 2015. I used a Hondata Kpro for engine management which requires you to change the crank and cam sensors to 2006 sensors (VR to Hall Effect). I am changing to an infinity 506 engine management system and want to just keep the Hall effect sensors. My shop manual is for 2000 to 2005 so I do not have a wiring diagram. Can anyone help me identify the power/signal/ground wires for the crank and cam sensors and if anyone is familiar with the 506 infinity, where to pin them out to? I am attaching pictures of the wires from the cam and crank sensors (hopefully) Cam Sensor Wires Crank sensor wires
You can find a service manual on s2000.club and aem has a PDF on their website which contains the details of the s2000 plug and play harness for the infinity. I think between those two sources they should have the info you’re looking for?
Edited after a quick search on here- SOS has done plug and play wiring harnesses before that allow KPro and Infinity to be run on the same car with no wiring changes.
Thank you guys for the reply. I used the AEM harness for the 00-05 s2000 and repined the harness from the VR inputs to the digital inputs for the Hall Effect sensors then rewired the SOS cam/crank sensor harness that used to go to the Hondata box. Short answer, should have gone with the SOS Infinity harness. The AEM s2000 harness is bulky and difficult to mount/work with. The SOS harness appears to be much more compact and simpler (by watching install you tube videos). Much thanks to Jeff Evans for helping me sort it out
