Default Detect knock?

Is there a way to detect knock from within the car via a dash light besides using K-Pro? I also know that Giles hardwired the EMU to do something lik this.

However, is there any other way to do this without the above solutions?

Thanks!

Here's another way: http://www.jandssafeguard.com/

I've read some great feedback regarding this box, though I haven't used it myself yet.

Best Option I know of is the TurboXS one. UGLY chrome, but hide that bad boy or paint it and you have a winner.

Damn, good find! Would you recommend using the stock knock sensor or the upgraded Bosch one? What are the pro's and con's of both of these?

Thanks!

Has anyone verified that this actually works? Some sort of verification while on a dyno or compared to knock count on an EMS or Hondata unit would be great. I would be hesitant to trust this since it uses a generic filter to detect knock. Stock ECU's adjust sensitivity and the filter based on engine speed.
