Don't you mean Ethanol?
I just checked and was surprised to see that ethanol is the type of alcohol people drink. Didn't realize that.
A friend of mine was just tuned on e85 (he has a dc integra with a k20a in it, all motor with bolt on's, kpro and ID1000's). The tuner said he had to increase fuel by 40% off the stock k20a map. The fuel lines were not change out, I honestly dont think they need to be. No aftermarket fuel pump was needed. Car put down 230/175, torque was solid all the way across.
Really interesting thread. My E85 isn't super convenient but not a bad drive (~28 miles), but I drive the S so little, it would be easy to make the trip for a fill up, plus it's a fun drive.
My plan is ultimately to go FI (probably supercharger from SOS), but this would be a nice incremental upgrade (and even injectors would be applicable to FI).
I guess the biggest caveat is the potential issues with the fuel system (lines, seals, etc.)
Yeah, I was doing some tequila shots with the S the other night.
