Engine stalling after Haltech install.
Hello all,
Recently put a haltech pro in my AP1, with either the basemap or my friend's tune (same mods), my engine will start and idle just fine. If I give the engine gas, and come off of it the rpms fall and it stalls out. I did the TPS calibration and it seems to be registering. My hunch is that it's MAP related, but not sure how to remedy it. That hunch could be totally wrong as well.

Does it stall with the stock ECU? If not, then it isn't going to be a sensor issue.
Next step would be the idle config and whether or not idle control is engaging as the engine RPMs decrease. If it's not going into idle mode, then you need to find out why. If it's going into idle mode, then your idle config is off.

I 100% agree with you here, but at the same time how are guys just tossing in these pre-tuned greddy emanage's?? Between AP1 and AP2 nonetheless!!
You know..I totally forgot that ECU is a piggy back lol. I'll see what I can do with the idle config and report back. As I'm revving up through the powerband the car does in fact sound good. So hopefully the idle business is all I have to worry about.
