Default Flash Pro

Just wanted to know if any one has this same problem with flash pro. I went upload changes to my cal when it all the suddenly stopped uploading and unlocked its self from the car. It will not reconnect. It does have a check by flash pro but that is it. This is not the first time this has happened. The last time I disconnected the battery and that fixed the problem but that is not working this time.

Your description is king of hard to understand. Are you saying that when you connect the FlashPro back to your computer, FlashPro Manager thought the FlashPro had been unlocked, so you have to go through the "Lock to Vehicle" process? Did you post about this on Hondata's forum?

If I had to make a guess, it sounds like you may not have the OBDII connector seated well in the diagnostic port.

Let me rephrase my question, since your answer wasn't any more clear than your original post.

When you buy a brand new FlashPro, it is not locked to any vehicle. Before you can flash a new calibration to a vehicle, you have to go through the process of locking the FlashPro to the vehicle using FlashPro Manager. Once the FlashPro is locked to the vehicle, it cannot be locked to any other vehicle, and the only way to unlock it is to use the "Unlock from Vehicle" function in FlashPro Manager, which also returns the ECU to stock. So my question is ... when you say that the FlashPro is unlocking itself after a failed upload, is it truly becoming unlocked from your vehicle, or are you just using the wrong terminology? It seems to me that you are using the wrong terminology, and the real issue is that the upload is just failing. That has happened to me many times, and I fix it by reloading the calibrations to the FlashPro again using FlashPro Manager, then uploading them to the car again.
