Sorry if this has been beaten to death... im new to the engine management section. I have an 06, only power mods are berk 3" single with test pipe. I know very little about flash pro and engine tuning but it seems like a good idea to me. I track the car so reliability is a high priority. How big of a difference would it make with preset tunes? What about if it is professionally tuned? Is it worth the money for me? (since its NA and only has an exhaust). Thanks.

 

There's about 10hp that can be gained at the top end completely stock with the fp
I also gained roughly 25hp around 6k rpm so there's lots to be gained.

You won't get good gains with the canned tuned unless you have those exact same mods.

Yeah I really want to buy it and take it to BlackTrax for tuning. I take it you like yours? What other power mods do you have? Also did you pick what you wanted (like the vtec point) or did you just have Jei work his magic? Thanks for the help!

 

I let Jei figure out the VTEC point, he'll get it to where it works best with the mods you have. My guess is your VTEC will end up being lower than mine due to your exhaust mods. I think there's an fp selling for like 490? In the BA fs section.

Haha yeah thats why I think im going to make an impulse decision and buy it. Do you have an intake or anything else?

 

I have a CR exhaust but I don't think you can consider that a performance mod. My intake and filter are completely stock and not cut, I'm also running a stock cat.
Suspension is a different story lol

 

And you gained 25hp?! Is that crank or wheel hp? You're running ohlins right?

 

I gained roughly 25hp at 6k, I guess wheel? If it was flywheel it should be more peak power than 222hp I'm guessing.

 

It looks like you gained across the board too. Also it looks like theres not really a vtec kick anymore?
