Default Flashpro touch up for Tanabe Medallion?

Hey guys, will I need a "touch up" or retune on my 06 if I add a Tanabe Touring Medallion? I had a Gernby tune done a couple years ago with just the Berk HFC. I know there probably isn't any power to be gained. Just don't want to throw anything off.

Thanks

Jon

Ask Gernby.

As for the exhaust swap I recommend putting the car on a lift or the highest jackstands you can borrow. Remove the frame cross bar. Remove the rear wheels, it makes the swap much easier. Remove the one-piece OEM exhaust from the rear. If you disconnect it from the cat first it will be hard to get it out of the rear as the tips will stick under the rear bumper. Install the exhaust with the bolts loose until you've got everything centered. I did this solo and learned some lessons the hard way.

Put some rope round it to lower it down, its very heavy doing it alone.

You'll be amazed at the weight of the OE exhaust.

The notes furnished with the Medalion Touring exhaust specify it will smoke when new. It does! I always back into my garages but had to make an exception for a couple weeks when the exhaust was new.

Thanks Chuck. I actually failed to mention I helped install one on a friend's AP1 last year. I figure the AP2 bumper is more of an obstacle when removing the stock exhaust since it extends lower. After installing we went for a mid day ride through town. It smoked a lot..lol. His car is super clean and low mileage so people were probably thinking, nice S2000, too bad the engine is blown.
