Default Greddy Emanage

Okay here's the deal. I don't know anything about tuning or standalones but I just came across what I believe is a good deal on an e manage, but I know nothing about them but I see this as an oppertunity to tune my bolt on and nitrous s2k. He said it comes with the cd and a yellow harness that's obd2b to obd1 and he claimed its a good harness because the wires are heat shrunk not glued together. True? Now here are my questions, if anyone could help me I'd appreciate it. First off how much do these usually go for used? Are there different versions or models of it? Does the emanage replace the ecu like a standalone or is it just an add on? What are the tuning capabilities of it? How hard are they to tune? Are they like the vfac that you can kinda tune yourself or would you have to have a shop tune it? Any input is greatly appreciated

That harness won't work I don't think. Is it coming off of an S2000? It is likely for a Civic or something that would need an OBD1 to OBD2. What you want is the boomslang plug and play harness

I paid $375 and it had the boomslang harness.

Are there different versions or models of it?
Not to my knowledge

It is a piggyback tuner to the stock ECu is retained.

What are the tuning capabilities of it?
Pretty damn good. You can lower Vtec adjust fuel and air ratios tune for boost etc. Its probably the most powerful piggyback you can buy.

How hard are they to tune?
No idea someone did mine for me

I would suggest having a dyno tuner that is familiar with it do it for you especially if you are doing any kind of boost or nitrous.

Also you will need a wideband sensor. I bought the innovative wideband as that is what my tuner recommended and it has worked fine.

Yeah don't bother with the Blue, it has less features and tuning capability then the Ult.

I paid $400 for my used Ult with Pnp boomslang harness just fyi. You will want the additional 02 feedback harness which connects to the ult, Wideband and 02 sensor. Cost is $125 from Greddy. This provides an important o2 feedback feature for tuning and data logging.

Per our PM's, I have corrected this as it threw me off and possibly could throw someone else as well.
