Default Help a noob out flashpro on a stock ap2?

Hi everyone
I just picked up my ap2 few months ago, just love it.
My plan is to stuff it with a supercharger later on.
So my thought is, if I will need the flashpro later anyways, maybe I should get it now if there are some benefits to be gained.
Being a noob, I will not know how to tune the thing. At best I will just download the file and reflash.

So... Are there flash files for a stock ap2? Are there any performance benefits?

Thanks in advance

Best mod You can buy for an 06plus car. Comes with several pretuned calibrations. Get yourself a test pipe, intake and the flashpro and you'll be able to basically maximise the cars performance NA. Should easily pick up 10-15 with just those three and a ton of midrange.

Look up evans tuning for email tunes or just load a stock tune for a stock setup. You'll still get a boost like JAPHETHWAR said. Or go to your local dyno tuner and have him set you up.

I got one and used the Toda reflash and it added a bunch of mid range for me.

Another noob question. Can you just go to a dyno tuner and get an 06+ tuned without buying a flashpro?

No, the flashpro is the gateway that allows access to the factory computer. All it does is allow you to make changes to the factor engine management system. Without the Flashpro there is no real way to make changes. Just like with Aem you use there software to make changes on there computer. Since your using the oem brain on the 06 plus you need the proper tool to operate on it. Hence the Flashpro

MY04 has 3 choices, and none are cheaper as flashpro at retail cost. only 06+ can use flashpro.
KPro, AEM EMS, or Haltech EMS which are complete stock ecu replacements.

most easily obtainable on the used market is probably the AEM. you can probably get a used series1 for the same cost as a flashpro. pick the one youre tuner is most comfortable with.
