hondata flashpro

Default hondata flashpro

If I have a locked flashpro, but not the matching ecu is it possible to have it unlocked by hondata?

I'm sure it is technically possible, but Hondata will refuse to do it. I would contact them, and see if they would at least unlock it for the cost of a reflash ($350?).

Proof of purchase from whom? If you bought it used from a guy that didn't unlock it, Hondata isn't going to care about proof.

nope but you can call and ask... my friend had the same issue and they said becuase of theft and stuff they would not... why cant you send back to person and have them unlock it from their car?

Unless your proof of purchase shows your serial number, it's not going to happen.

It's to prevent theft.

Not only to prevent theft, but it is also to prevent one guy buys it for multiple car, thus reducing the possible profit for Hondata.
