Looking for any info on a wiring harness and how well the Infinity is working with 2006+ cars. I found this one but its a bit vague on the details:

Do I retain the factory ECU for the dash? Also does anyone know if the OBD port remains live for getting telemetry? I like using an OBD reader with Harry's Lap Timer.

 

Call up SoS, they have a great solution with a very clean mounting plan. Infinity does not use OBD2 and the ECU is a full standalone.

 

Yeah I talked to them already, sounds like they are close to announcing a harness. Just wanted to know what else might be out there and what experiences are. Searching the forum I am having a hard time tracking down posts of folks using Infinity on 2006+ cars.

 

The factory dash is driven by CAN and K-line messages from the ECU and various modules. We addressed this with our new system - which completely eliminates the factory ECU. Check it out:
