Use the default FlashPro calibration settings. Check idle and part fuel trims are not too high/low. Don't load the engine up until it is tuned.

Derek, any issue if using Deatsch Werks? http://www.deatschwerks.com/products...fuel-injectors

I would not say there is an issue with ID1000s - just that the parameters you need to use are different from what ID tells you.

I switched two of my cars from RC to DW injectors in the last two years, and are happy with the results. Main difference is that the DW spray pattern is much better, so the slight soot coating my civic got on the rear bumper went away, plus idle improved and fuel economy improved slightly. Switched on the K24 Lotus but it goes too fast for any soot to stick, so have noticed less difference.

As I do more tuning, I'll repost to let you know which of those values seems more correct.

Thx for posting this.
After installing my ID1000's, the fueling seemed a bit off, and it had trouble staying at idle... I used 1000cc on the cal screen as well.

Tim, my tuner has 1000cc listed in my tune on kmanager. Start up is perfect when cold near perfect when warm and idles at around 1000 RPM without an issue.

Funny. My cold start and idle are great. It's the hot start that's not. I wonder if they rescaled the rest of the fuel map or what they used for injector offset values to make it work.

So on Kpro, I currently have ID 725s in there and am switching to a Aeromotive 340 from a Walbro 255, what else needs to be changed besides injector scaling, any voltage or other offsets?

If all you changed is the fuel pump, nothing in your map should change unless your FPR can't keep up with the return requirements of the new fuel pump at low load or if your old fuel pump couldn't maintain the desired flow/pressure at high load. In the first case, your low load cells would all need to be reduced. In the second case, your high load cells could be reduced. I've personally run into the second scenario before and had to remove a lot of fuel from the higher boost/rpm parts of my fuel map, but that was going from stock to Walbro 255HP.

Oops, left out the part about installing new ID 1000s, I scheduled an appt with my tuner and he also said its best to wait till I make it to the dyno before installing the new injectors as more could have changed
