Kpro Preparations.
I'm going start the prep work for MY01 for a KPRO installation.
• Crank sensor 37500-PZX-003
• Crank wheel 13622-PCX-013
• TDC sensor 37510-PZX-003
• TDC wheel 14112-PCX-003
• Valve cover 12310-PCX-020
• Drain plug washer (for PCV valve) 94109-14000
• PCV valve 17130-PCX-003
• IAT sensor 37880-P05-A00 (not required, but stock IAT will read about 30 degrees hotter)
I have all these parts and ready to install them. But I don't actually have the K-Pro Unit yet and wont be able to get it until late summer.
Is the car still functional if I install these first? Or should I wait for the ECU before I touch anything?

Wait. Get other parts in the mean time. The oil pan will be off, do you want a baffle for track days? Do your oil banjo bolts, retainers and valve adjustment at the same time. Buying cams in the future? Or want to add a catchcan? This is a good time to get some nice AN fittings welded to the valve cover.
I *should* have done all of these things. Instead, I just did a valve adjustment (mine is a 2003, but I should have done the retainers in hindsight).
