Default Kpro V3, ITB and closed loop

I am getting ready to install ITB. I think I have a bad narrow band O2.
  • What is the recommended narrow band O2?
  • For closed loop performance, what would be the benefit using Kpro V4 with wide band O2 over Kpro V3 with narrow band O2?
Current set up:
Kpro V3
AEM UEGO connected to ELD
InlinePro 2.6 stroker

Thanks!

Dont know if Hondata is taking in ECUs at this time , but upgrade to a V4 and pipe a Wb02 directly to it.

A narrowband is a switch, a wideband is provides you with an analog to actually know whats going on.

Fueling is way erratic with ITB's and a wideband is going to help a ton to keep compensating during closed loop.
Faster and more accurate.

Wire in a Wideband and when you tune do an AlphaN tune. So your load points will be TPS %..

I just finished a 7th AlphaN tune on my SC AP2 and I went away from MAP and switched to TPS. Why would I do that might you ask when I still have my IM and MAP pressure? Well our MAP sensor is erratic with eManage computer. After I converted to TPS based load the throttle response and accuracy of fueling is unreal.

In your case you're forced to use TPS since you really don't have any MAP, which isn't a bad thing and it can be dialed in pretty well.

Here are the TPS % breakpoints I suggest using:
1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100
If you run out of breakpoints... do this:
1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100

Reason you get so granular 1-30% with TPS is because the volume of air going through the TB is NOT linear. Volume change is drastic 1%-30%... 30%-60% is much less and 60-100% drastically less to the point where 80%-100% TPS makes almost no difference.

I wouldn't really call that^ an AlphaN tune But I agree, the GEMU is super noisy on the MAP signal compared to Kpro.
To the OP, make sure you enable "Show Boost tables" so you get 16 columns for the TPS table, otherwise you only get 10.

Sure is noisy with GEMU. Unsure how it's not AlphaN... prob because OEM ECU isn't haha. I think i see where you're going with that.

Now, although MAP is best for ignition map... with linear SC boost delivery I nuked my "pro" tune and built my own with once again TPS load for ignition correction and... wow does the car drive smooth.
