Did you consider making the changes and going with Hondata?
I did not. I’m happy on the stock ecu. Car runs and drives likes it’s supposed to. Don’t wanna deal with trying to tune this car again.! Too much of a headache. If you’re gonna go LINK, my only suggestion would be to have a reputable tuner who you trust trying to smooth out issues cause you’re gonna have them. You can look through some of threads I made looking for help and a bunch of people on LINK had the same exact issues I had and no one resolved them. You get more power but the drivability issues are a pain.

would highly recommend going AEM if you can find one or Hondata instead

A query about the link G4X, does it change the calibration of the OE temp gauge? I'm pretty sure I seen the 4th bar in the cluster light up at the end of my last trackday but link data log only shows a 96degC peak, previously I only ever had 3 bars even on a hot day, except when my OEM radiator hardly had any fins left then I did see 4 on track!

I've had my Link ECU for almost 4 years. Tuned NA and now turbo, no issues at all.

you can calibrate it how you would like. i think Link said they made the 4th bar light up at 212*.
BUT, if you running the link "s2000" ECT sensor calibration, then its going to read a higher ECT than actual.

Thanks, mine must be set to the "standard" Link scaling which obviously is different (and more useable), that's what I expected but good to confirm. I see there's a further update on that thread with quote from Adam at Link stating their scaling has 6bars lighting up at 234F
